Grand Battery is one of Gibraltar’s key historic defences, with origins dating back to the Moorish era. Expanded over the centuries and active during the Thirteenth Siege, it remains an important part of the Rock’s military story.

Visitors can explore its preserved structures, artillery, and exhibits, including 18th-century fire steps uncovered in 2019, along with impressive views over the Mediterranean.
